Marrakesh in february: average Weather, Temperature and Climate

In comparison with the previous month, the climate throughout February in Marrakech announces the end of the winter season. Although morning temperatures still indicate relatively low values, there is a marked improvement in weather. Maximum temperatures show a slight increase which again promotes the thermal comfort.

If at the beginning of the month, the evenings are still cool, they improve over the days - ranging from 15° C to 18° C and allowing visitors the possibility to prolong their walk by a few hours. All the more so, as the sunshine lasts a little longer than a ten minutes, when compared to the previous month.

Beginning of February in Marrakech

The weather in Marrakech throughout February resembles that of the city towards the end of January: gentle mornings and comfortable temperatures in midday. As one is still in the middle of the winter season, the weather is refreshed as soon as the sun sets. Thus, it is not uncommon to feel the colder temperatures at dusk. However, with appropriate clothing, it is quite possible to enjoy evenings with friends, sitting on the best terraces in town and enjoying tasty local drinks. The days are favorable to the discovery of the markets and souks because the warmth is just perfect.

Marrakech throughout the Rest of February

As early as the second ten day period, there is a slight but noticeable increase in temperature while the humidity is already more palpable. Thus, in the morning, the thermometer indicates a degree more than that of the preceding days. The sun is indeed more present because it is now rising a few minutes earlier. Later on, the midday and afternoon temperatures rise favorably, allowing for lazing around and enjoying the softness of the sun's rays.
