Where should you go in Ghana in september when it comes to the weather?
Remember:
The climate in Ghana in september ranges from good to bad depending on the region and city.
September is not the best month to visit Ghana. The weather in Cape Coast, Accra, Sekondi-Takoradi, Tema, Mole National Park, Akosombo and Tamale is ok but correct. The sun is not there all the time and you risk you to be soaked by rain frequently. However, if you don't plan a deckchair & cocktails by the pool trip but rather city tours or a trek, this climate may be good enough for you. In addition, there are certainly fewer tourists during this period.
It's much worse in Kumasi and surrounding area where the climate is very bad. We really do not recommend you to visit this area in september.
